SSDE is honored to welcome Alyssa Cesario as a guest artist at this year’s Summer Intensive! Alyssa will be teaching Hip Hop on Monday July 27th! Monday 7/27 9:00-10:30 (Ages 13 & Up) 10:30-11:30 (Ages 8-12) Alyssa is a dance educator, freelance choreographer and professional dancer from Reading MA. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Dance Education & Management. In college she obtained a leadership role on the university’s D1A Dance Team. During her 4 years on this team she became a 2x Collegiate All-American Award winner. Post college, she became a member of the Boston Celtics Dance team & recently retired after her 3rd season. She is currently working as a dance educator for Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School while also choreographing for studios, professional teams & colleges all around New England. Alyssa is extremely passionate about dance education advocacy and the importance of community within the dance industry. What a weekend! We are so unbelievably proud of our dancers and their performances this weekend at @acceleratedancex . SSDE has been open for 9 months and we were humbled and honored to receive the Stand Out Studio Award amongst so many talented and inspiring studios. A big congratulations to all of our dancers and staff for their hard work and dedication. We are so proud of everything we’ve accomplished in such a short time and are so excited for what’s ahead! SSDE is thrilled to announce our next Summer Intensive Guest Artist, Angie Moon Conte! Get ready for an inspiring experience filled with exploration, artistry, and passion! Angie will be teaching Contemporary and Improvisation on Monday, July 27th. Register now on our website! Ages 13 & Up | 12:00-1:30 (Contemporary) Ages 8-12 | 1:30-3:00 (Contemp & Improv) Angie Moon Conte is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. She began her training as a competition dancer, and went on to study concert forms, earning a BA in dance, as well as an MFA in dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her choreography both in the comp and concert world has been widely celebrated regionally and nationally. She has a deep love for teaching and mentorship, and her students have gone on to have their own stellar careers as performers and makers. Along with dance she works in film, primarily in the art department, where she leads creative teams for feature films, commercials, and music videos. She has also choreographed and directed a number of dance films, and is currently in pre production for her next. In her spare time she loves to craft, paint, and metalsmith. She is endlessly curious to explore the arts in all forms, and is a believer that all creative practices inform each other.

Emily is a graduate of Dean College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance with a minor in Business. During her time there, she trained extensively in a wide range of styles including jazz, tap, ballet, modern, and hip hop. While in college, she also became a published author, writing about the mindset and experiences of dancers. In addition to her academic and artistic accomplishments, Emily earned the title of Miss Freetown 2019 and went on to place as 3rd Runner-Up at Miss Massachusetts. Emily just finished her fifth season as a New England Patriots Cheerleader. As a member of the 2025–2026 squad, she was honored as Cheerleader of the Year and had the opportunity to perform at the 2026 Pro Bowl Games and the Super Bowl. Through her work with the organization, she has performed across the country, representing the New England Patriots on a national stage. With over eight years of teaching experience, Emily is deeply passionate about dance education. She loves working with children and teens, inspiring confidence and creativity while sharing her enthusiasm for the art of dance.

Core memories made in the most beautiful way. ✨ SSDE was deeply honored to share the stage with Sutton Foster at her sold-out concert last night. With only two weeks to prepare (during a competition weekend) these dancers showed up with courage, commitment, and heart. Watching them rise to this moment was nothing short of phenomenal. We are endlessly grateful to Sutton Foster and Eric Sciotto for trusting us with such a special, once-in-a-lifetime experience!
